hardcopy - Saves figure window to file

Syntax

hardcopy(handle,'filename','format')

Description

The hardcopy(handle,'filename','format') command saves the figure window with handle to the designated filename in the specified format. Legal formats are:

• -dps

• -deps

• -dps2

• -deps2

• -dill

• -dhpgl

Caution   Call this function when converting a figure to pixel data. This can be necessary in some Web deployments. Do not use this function merely as a substitute for the print function.
